Abstract: Strategic Management of Product Innovation and its Information Support
Possibilities of a dramatic change under a "New Economy" are briefly mentioned together with five stages of turbulence according Ansoff. Basic function of an appropriate information system for support strategic planning is defined. An important source of information for strategic planning and decision is new branch of information technology application called Competitive Intelligence. All captured information is necessary to gather and to distribute through the whole enterprise using Knowledge Management System.
