Abstract: Applicants for a Degree Course at the Economic Faculties
The results of three market research are presented: 1) At secondary schools among the 201 students who are going to take for one's leaving examination. 2) During entrance exams among the 1298 students interested to study at the Faculty of Economics of the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň. 3) Among the 78 students who pass the first semester with success. The first aim of this research was to find out, at which universities and faculties students want to study and which factors influence them in making decision about choice of school. The second aim was to obtain relevant information about the profile of personality of those students, who study successfully during the first semester.
