Analysis of Time Series of Unemployment-rate in the District of Litoměřice
The subject of analysis treats monthly values of uneployment-rate (in %) from the year 1991 till december 2002. It is taken into account additive model of this time series. The trend function is chosen as the result of evaluating of mean square error and the index of determination. Further, the seasonal fluctuation of the analysed time series are taken into account. Cyclical behaviour of the analysed time series was not statistically significant. Seasonal fluctuations are described through seasonal factors. Finally, the article presents the statistically-based forecasts of the uneployment-rate for the year 2003 and compares the first known real montly values of unemployment-rate with the forecasts.
